We have received a few calls and emails asking if they were Wolf Eyes torches being used on Cops LAC, besides the obvious Maglites. We can confirm that they are using Wolf Eyes Sniper 260 and congratulations to all the eagle eyed viewers who noticed.
The new Wolf Eyes T3, Digital Police and Krait have arrived all with their own unique features. The T3 is a three LED torch with 855 lumens on high, the Digital Police has 700 lumens and a switch to change between personal and tactical mode whilst the Krait has an aspherical lens focussing system with AA batteries.

Wolf Eyes torch in ice cube!
For a recent tender we were asked about the sub zero capability of Wolf Eyes torches. We know are torches are very capable in sub zero conditions having been used by many specialist units in the Australian Alpine region and overseas. We wanted to show the batteries and torches capabilities in cold temperatures, so decided to photograph one of our torches in an ice cube. The process was to turn the torch on low, then place it turned on in a freezer for 4 days till the water became an ice cube. The torch was going the whole time! We then removed the ice cube and photographed it. This is possible due to the rechargeable Lithium Ion battery technology used in Wolf Eyes torches.

Our liking for rechargeable batteries is well known, but if you have a rangefinder, photo flash, laser, older technology torch, etc you may not be able to use rechargeable batteries. After paying $25 for a pack of 2 CR123 batteries at your local supermarket or electronics chain, you may need some lower priced alternatives! Wolf Eyes A1
Wolf Eyes have just released 3 new torches all using AA batteries, the Wolf Eyes A1 a modestly sized single AA LED Cree torch/flashlight very handy around the campsite or behind the PC, it’s bigger brother the Wolf Eyes A2 which uses 2 x AA with Cree LED and the Wolf Eyes AK6 with its huge 700 lumen output from 6 x AA batteries and Osram LED. The Wolf Eyes Sea Lion Hunter version is finally out, after changing quad die LEDs and multiple versions of the reflector, to give a good balance of throw, hotspot and spill light.
