The new Pulsar Helion Thermal Monocular Scope has great capability and with internal recording and wifi output! Pair it with your phone or notepad for a larger screen, this works with all models, the XQ50F, XQ38F, XQ19F, XP50, XP38 and XP28 Pulsar Helion thermal scopes. Works for both Apple and Android phones and tablets. Tremendous for law enforcement, academic, herd management, conservation or hunting. We have now had plenty of users give us feedback on the Pulsar Helion thermal range and the wifi has proven a huge hit. Wildlife tour operators have used this so everyone in the group can view at the same time, those involved in vermin control have also noted the same thing. You can share the sighting with the group, rather than each person having to reacquire the sight picture when they are given the thermal spotting scope. The Helion Thermal imaging scopes offers the latest technologies in thermal imaging  to give you the best image definition, combined with the best supporting technologies and software so you can utilise it to the fullest.

Internal recording on the Pulsar Helion thermal scopes has proven invaluable for Police, Law Enforcement but also farmers to be able to show adjacent landowners their shared problems or for those who have access to property, it enables you to show the landowner the extent of the problem. It goes without saying that courts love video but it also makes discussions easier with neighbours, especially if your neighbour is a government department.

The Pulsar Helion thermal scope is compact to carry, which makes it a handy option for people who already have a thermal scope of their rifle, scanning with a thermal monocular like the Helion is far easier due to the lighter weight and also safer.

Details of the new Helion Thermal Scope:

  The best image definition

A heat sink, located on the Pulsar Helion thermal scopes body,  prevents heat build-up from the sensor and other electronic components whilst also significantly reducing general temperature and noise sensitivity, especially between calibrations. There are two leveles of image quality with the Pulsar  XP Helion series offering the absolute highest definition.

  High image frequency

With a high refresh rate of 50Hz, the Pulsar Helion thermal scope provides comfortable viewing for dynamic and fast moving action.

  Built-in video recording

Capturing still images and video is seamless and easy with the Pulsar Helion’s built-in video recorder. Image and video content is stored internally and can easily be transferred to your PC, laptop, phone or pad via a wired connection or Wi-Fi from the Pulsar Helion thermal scope.

  Variable magnification

Pulsar Helion models (XP & XQ) include variable magnification, up to 8x depending on model, and feature both 2x step-up and smooth, graduated magnification for a truly optimum, customized field of view.

Mobile-friendly (iOS, Android) with remote control and live internet streaming

The highlight of the Pulsar Helion thermal scope is the ability to link via Wi-Fi the device with Android and iOS based mobile units using the free mobile application Stream Vision. The Stream Vision software connects the device with Android/iOS mobile unit (smartphone or tablet) which enables you to receive footage in the real time mode, to distantly operate the device with your smartphone, as well to stream online the image captured by the device to Youtube. Great for wildlife tour operators, hunters, academics, conservation & herd management, law enforcement this can remotely operate your Helion scope or record evidence for later.

Detection distance up to 1800 m

Depending on your individual model, Pulsar Helion thermal imaging scopes can detect big-game-size heat signatures up to 1800 meters away.

  Stadiametric rangefinder

Based on the estimated heights of viewed objects, the stadiametric rangefinding reticle in the Pulsar Helion thermal scope makes determining distances fast, easy, reliable and repeatable.

  Quick-change B-Pack power units

The Pulsar Helion range - all models XP50, XP38, XP28, XQ50F, XQ38F and XQ19F - include a progressive autonomous B-Pack power supply consisting of a quickly detachable, rechargeable IPS5, 5.2A-h battery pack designed to deliver over 8 hours of  Helion Thermal Scope operation on maximum mode. Higher powered IPS10 battery packs, as well as CR123A and AA battery cases, also are available and provide a perfect out in the bush power solution for your Pulsar Helion and are also compatable with your Pulsar Trail.

  Fully waterproof

With the Pulsar Helion Thermal monocular scope rated at IPX7 waterproof protection it ensures your Pulsar Helion thermal scope performs perfectly in wet weather, even during intense rain, snowfall and submersion in 3 ft. of water for up to 30 min. (IEC 60529).

  Wide range of operating temperatures

With a frost resistant AMOLED display, the Helion thermal imaging scope is designed to deliver perfect performances at an extreme temperature range of  -25° ... +50°С.

  User friendly interface

The Helion thermal scope is designed to be easy to use. A lot of client feedback has resulted in the most friendly interface to date, complete with an easy to read, icon driven, alpha numeric status bar at the bottom of the display. Internal menu items and options are also displayed on a contrasting gradient substrate so you can keep an eye on settings without losing sight of your objective.

  Display off mode

During short periods of inactivity and for use to provide  better concealment, Display Off powers down the Helion's display without interrupting any other functions. Using Display Off means you have a much faster restart time when you need it most.

  Updatable software

For your initial setup and ongoing updates, the iOS and Android compatible Stream Vision App will ensure that the most recent Pulsar Helion software versions are available to your thermal scope.

  Fully functional wireless control (optional)

The Helion scopes wireless remote control, with it's encoder wheel, puts the complete range of the Helion’s capabilities at your fingertips for comfortable, convenient, remote operation.

Excellent

By: on 14 June 2017
Have had previous thermals scopes both this brand and others. As you would expect these latest Helion scopes are the best yet with better electronics and better features built in. Thought that wifii was a gimmick but very handy when out with my partner, we can both see at the same time. Very light which is much more relaxing to use for longer periods.
