Variable 1.75 -14x magnification (x8 digital zoom) provides improved focus and better overall object recognition at significant distances. The HD-sensor allows to maintain a high level of image detail across the whole magnification range. The zoom changes either gradually in 2x step or continuously for a customized FOV / magnification ratio for each specific situation.
Precise laser range finding
Understanding the target distance is an essential factor in making the right decisions. The compact laser rangefinder with a range of up to 800 metres is seamlessly integrated into a slim design riflescope, the receiver and emitter are within clearance limits of a single optical channel.
Integrated ballistic calculator for long-range options
Thermion 2 LRF ensures accuracy at any distance. The built-in laser rangefinder provides you with an exact sense of distance while the sophisticated internal ballistics algorithm calculates the suggested POI for accurate long-range action. Simply create a ballistic profile for your chosen calibre, upload it to the Thermion's memory with the Stream Vision Ballistics App, and turn your Thermion 2 LRF XL50 into a highly accurate and efficient long-range tool.
Wide field of view for easy scanning
Thermion 2 LRF XL50 offers a wide field of view for easy scanning and spotting. Even at high zoom levels, the large-format sensor allows for a well-balanced FOV / magnification ratio.
Premium HD-class germanium optics
For a clear and detailed image field of view, the Thermion's 2 LRF XL50 germanium F50/1.0 objective lens truly expands the advantages of an HD thermal sensor. The use of aspherical lenses and diffractive optical elements maintains a high aperture ratio with the capability of sharp and precise image projection across the entire sensor area.
High-precision ambidextrous lens focusing
Objective lens with internal focusing mechanism gives a clear and sharp image at any range. Ergonomic focusing wheels are located on the right and left sides, making focusing easy either left- or right-handed.
Ground-breaking image processing
The pixel-to-pixel image transfer from the sensor to the display makes the image as sharp as possible. Adjustable sensor sensitivity amplification combined with new filtration algorithms offers the hunter great opportunities for observation in diverse weather and temperature conditions. The amplification setting helps to define the animal’s trophy features and ensures clear rendering of objects and background in the field of view.
Wireless remote control included
The Pulsar BT wireless Bluetooth remote control completely duplicates the regular buttons. The remote control features excellent ergonomics − the buttons activate the most used functions, while rotating or pressing the encoder operates fine adjustment and menu navigation. The design, size and positioning of the buttons and encoder are customized for use with both bare hands and gloved hands. It takes minimum movement for you to control the scope enabling you to maintain maximum concentration on the hunting process with the remote control placed in any convenient position on the fore-end or butt.
Mounting on standard 30 mm rings
The Thermion 2 LRF XL50 offers visual aesthetics on any hunting unit. From the outside the scope resembles a classic day sight in a 30mm aluminum alloy housing. This form factor provides flexibility for mounting the scope on hunting units using existing proven ring solutions.
.375H&H ready
Thermion 2 LRF XL50 thermal scope is highly impact resistant and can be used with hunting tools with calibres of 9.3x64, .30-06, .300, .375H&H, etc., as well as with smooth-bore and pneumatic tools.
10 profiles / 100 zeroing distances
Zeroing settings are saved in a profile. The Thermion 2 LRF XL50 memory contains up to 10 different profiles for several types of tools or cartridges. Each profile holds up to 10 zeroing distances input manually, but can be transformed for automatic ballistic calculations based on measured distance using the Stream Vision ballistics app.
A selection of 10 reticle shapes in 9 color modes
A reticle is electronically displayed in the same plane as the target. The Thermion 2 LRF XL50 memory contains ten reticle configurations and functions (direct type, ballistic, scalable and regular), all available in nine colors.
High-precision aiming in the «Picture-in-picture» mode
The “Picture-in-picture” function enables the user to display a high-precision zeroing frame. Taking only 10% of the total display area, the frame shows a magnified image of the target and reticle and allows the user to closely see the image in the aiming area and have visual control of the entire field of view at the same time.
Customizable user mode for individual image adjustment
Use the brightness and contrast adjustments to maximise the detail and informative value of the image in specific observation conditions. The User Mode function saves selected brightness and contrast settings in the device's memory providing optimal image quality for the next use of the thermal imager immediately, with no additional adjustments needed.
Combined dual battery system
The Thermion 2 LRF XL50 is powered with two rechargeable batteries: one built-in with a capacity of 4.9 A·h, and the other replaceable. The standard package supply includes replaceable batteries of 2A·h and 3.2 A·h capacity. A single charge guarantees up to 10 hours of continuous operating time. The embossing on the body of the replaceable batteries enables accurate determination of the correct position and enables replacing a flat battery with a new one quickly and confidently in complete darkness by touch alone.
64 GB memory photo and video recording
Keep the best moments of observation and share them with your friends and colleagues. One touch of a button is enough to capture an interesting moment or start recording a video. 64 GB of internal memory gives the ability to record many hours of video and tens of thousands of photos.
Flexible set of colour palettes for various needs
1024x768 HD AMOLED display has enhanced color rendering, power saving, a high contrast image and quick-response, providing clear and smooth images for on-the-move observation or in cold conditions. A choice of 8 colour palettes lets the users observe their field of view more effectively, allowing them to optimise the unit for specific tasks as well as react to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are optimal for object detection, Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase chances for recognition & identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are most suitable for long observation in the night.
