For the last 3 years we have used an Infiray RH50 for demonstation purposes at Field Days and Shows. This unit has been to about 15 weekends. The rangefinder has been removed when travelling and shows a little wear. This scope has never, ever been on a rifle (excluding our plastic toy rifles). Great buying at HALF PRICE! Obviously one only!
We do not refurb and sell our demos 'as new', we state what they are, demonstrators.
The Infiray Rico series of thermal imaging scopes consists of two sights, the RH50 and RL42. Both offer good image quality and great value for money. The Rico thermal series both have an optiopnal rangefinder (which can be added later), removable batteries, eyepiece magnification up to eleven times and wifi. is featured with a laser rangefinder (optional), detachable battery pack, eyepiece magnification up to 11 times, and a comprehensive software interface.
High Thermal Image Quality
Infiray use their own VOx detector, which is independently developed to give a high thermal image quality. Their own microblometers are used in all Infiray Rico thermal scopes, both RH50 and RL42.
High Screen Quality
Both the RH50 and RL42 utilise an AMOLED high definition screen to give great definition and contrast. The AMOLED screen used in both Infiray Rico thermal scopes offers high contrast and colours, even in very cold temperatures. This screen works very well with the high definition sensor of the Rico RH50, naturally it also works well with the Rico RL42.
Standard Ultraclear Mode
The ultraclear mode is engineered to provide greater detail and clarity, useful in difficult conditions or when used at a greater distance.
Simple and straightforward Interface
Infiray understand that many users will be first time users of thermal devices, so the Rico range of thermal scopes have purposely been made simple to use, so you spend more time observing and less time on the controls.
Picture-in-Picture Function
The Picture-in-Picture function allows you to magnify the reticle or crosshairs at two times (2X) at the top of the screen, allowing you to know exactly where the crosshairs are placed while still having the wide field of view of the background - all shown on the one screen.
Resistant to Shock
The Infiray Rico Thermal Scope series, RH50 & RL42, are resistant to shock up to 1,000G, roughly equivalent to a .300 Win Mag
12 µm Thermal Imaging Sensor
The microblometer in the Rico range utilises a 12 µm pitch sensor size.
Optional Laser Ranging Module (not standard)
It can be very helpful with a thermal scope to accurately know the distance of items in the viewfinder, especially if you need to work out any drop. With this in mind there is an optional Laser Rangefinder module available for both the Infiray Rico RH50 & RL42. The rangefinder is accurate to plus or minus one metre and ranges out to one thousand metres. The Rico rangefinder integrates into the thermal scope and can be added after. There are two rangefinding modes, Scanning and Single Time, both offering an accuracy of ± 1 m and a maximum distance of 1,000 m.
Maximum detection range up to 2600 m
A quality thermal imaging sensor with NETD ≤40 mK and good quality optics results in great detection abilities. Working with a standard 1.8m target, in complete darkness they can be detected at up to a clear 2,600 metres.
Removable Battery
The removable battery on the Rico thermals lasts for six hours and two batteries are provided with your thermal scope. The Infiray 3.7V 3,820mah Rico batteries can be quickly removed and replaced in the field to allow long periods of use. It is possible to be charging one battery while using the other in your Infiray scope, so you never have to stop.
Recording
All of our Rico Thermal Scopes offer photo & video recording, as well as real time wifi to a tablet or phone. Video recording is great for treasured memories or accurate recording of events. The wifi option means others can share what you are seeing in real time and is very easy to organise via the Infiray Outdoor app available for free on the Apple Store or Google Play.
Accelerometer and Digital Compass
Your Infiray Rico scope has a compass and accelerometer. Combined these two enable better accuracy by measuring cant and angles.
